Born out of a partnership with designers and makers from Japan and across the world, WEEK END creates products of quality and utility, designed to fit your life with minimal distraction. By focusing on what's essential, we aim to create a more humane condition — full of moments of comfort.

DESIGN

The diffuser, redesigned

In our search for a new kind of diffuser, we carefully considered each element from the ground up. The porcelain filters are handcrafted by artisans from Hida, and provide contrast to the solid metal base. Within, a built-in fan creates an upward air flow, gently dispersing your favourite scents evenly throughout your space. The result is as practical and easy to use as it is beautifully designed.

CRAFTMANSHIP

Old traditions, new application

Every WEEK END Aroma Diffuser comes with your choice of porcelain filter — a beautiful base to carry your favourite scented oils. Our porcelain filters were developed expressly by our partners at Shibukusa Ryuzo Porcelain Inc., and are individually handcrafted by one of their artisans.
Founded towards the end of the Edo period in 1841 in Hida-Takayama of Gifu Prefecture, Shibukusa Ryuzo Porcelain continues to use traditional kilns that are capable of firing both pottery and porcelain wares. In their continued push for innovation in their products, they developed a new kind of firing technique to create a porcelain best suited for our diffuser.
